How to improve the earth connection, and make your electric fence work more efficient ? See schedule (next page)

This schedule represents a fence with an alternative return to the earth post:
- Terminal : + for the fence
- Terminal: - for the earth

This principal generates an electric shock when the animal touches 2 or 3 rows of cord/tape at the same time. If he touches only one row ( often the upper one, with chest/or nose) , the electric shock is this time, generated by the return transmitted by the earth post.

By connecting the – terminal (earth, of your battery or mains energiser) to one or more earth posts and the lower row of your fence, the yield of the electric shock is two times more efficient, and assures more security to your fence, without changing the power supply on your energiser!

NB: To realise the best result, it is indispensable to avoid all vegetation from touching the lower row.
